Earth Kin Wild Hearted Women’s Circle ~ Thursday 27th August 2026 ~ “The Lynx Moon” ~ 7pm - 10pm
Warm your hands, and your heart, around the fire. Together, we gather, at the Iron Age Roundhouse.
Join us this August for a celebration of the ‘Lynx Moon’.
Together, we gather! Wild Hearted women are invited to gather at the Earth Kin Women’s Hearth at 7pm on Thursday 27th August 2026 as we hail the ‘Lynx Moon’.
The Lynx: Fierce, free, wildly independent . . . keeper of secrets, seer of truths . . . teaches us the wisdom of instinctual timing; when to wait, when to act, when to speak, when to hold silence. Protector of all those lost in the wilds, in Finnish lore, it is the Lynx who guides travellers safely home.
Once abundant across these isles, the Lynx was ruthlessly hunted for its fur, nicknamed ‘soft gold’, while deforestation destroyed its hunting grounds and devastated its homelands. Today, Lynx has not been seen in these islands for hundreds of years. Now, Lynx is calling the Women of the Hearth to pay attention to what is being eroded, what must be sought, what must be prized, and what must be restored.
Together, we will share our hurts, hopes and dreams around the fire of the Iron Age roundhouse in our women’s sharing circle before journeying deep in visualisation into the forest of the heart. Here we will meet with the spirit guide of the Lynx, humbly seeking the wisdom of the one who knows what it is to hold boundaries, counsel and dignity amid the most calamitous of chaos.
The evening includes:
Sharing circle with sharing of poetry, quotes or images in circle to inspire, reflect and release
Storytelling ~ with sacred storyteller Ellie Brooks
‘Ritual of the Lynx’
Hot drinks and biscuits provided for the break
All women over 18 years of age welcome, from all paths of life, in this multi-faith, inclusive, warm, welcoming space.
Please do layer up warmly - we will be gathering round a roaring fire, but the veil of night still hails a chill for the unwary when the sun goes down!
Earth Kin Hearth Keeper, Ellie Brooks, will send out an email with detailed information prior to the circle on or before the morning of the circle - please keep a look out.
We have a number of donation places available to ensure this space remains as accessible as possible - please email Ellie on earthkinevents@gmail.com for further information.
