Earth Kin Events Presents…

“Weaving the Dark” ~ a Samhain Gathering of Goddesses, Witches and Wild Women

Saturday 31st October 2026 | Ancient Technology Centre, Cranborne, Dorset | First Release Tickets ON SALE NOW - £30 (buy early to save!)

As the mists rise and the veil thins, join Earth Kin Events to celebrate the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain like never before and cross the threshold of magick; for on this night, we reclaim the Goddess . . . this night, we reclaim the Witch.

“Perhaps destiny is what we weave from the rags of ourselves; the threads tattered and tangled in our red-stained fingers; in the deep beneath the deep, in the dark beneath the dark. . .” (Ellie Brooks, Hel)

Autumn stirs with a bittersweet ache—a soul-deep yearning for a home you have never visited, calling you to something you cannot yet name.

Do you find yourself gazing at the glowing moon in the gathering dark, listening for the voices of ancestors carried on the leaf-spun wind? Are you drawn to the wild path, weary of the everyday grind, knowing your life is meant for more?

Your tribe is waiting. On this night, you are invited home.

Through drumming, storytelling, poetry, ritual and song we will give voice to the witches, wild women and goddesses of herstory and lore; blamed, exiled, thrown down, flung aside . . .  only to rise from the depths of darkness rooted in a sovereign power beyond all imagining.

The plight of our goddesses, witches and wild women are the stories of women silenced throughout history – this Samhain, hear them roar.

  • Four directions. Four weavings. Four tales. Listen spellbound as our witches, goddesses and wild women of Earth, Air, Fire and Water tell their stories in their own words, brought vividly to life by some of the UK’s most enthralling theatrical storytellers

  • Receive your Samhain incense blessings for the Celtic New Year with Priestess of Avalon Sharlea Sparrow

  • Honour your beloveds who have passed beyond the veil by bringing your photos and offerings for our shared ancestor’s altar

  • Pay homage to the Cailleach, shaper of land and stone, at our standing stone shrine in honour of the Dark Crone and Winter Queen

  • Place your prayers, hopes and dreams in the Cauldron of Ceridwen for our transformational fire ceremony

  • Drum and chant your heart out in one of Dorset’s largest drumming circles (drums and shakers supplied, or very welcome to bring your own)

  • Explore witchy women’s wares in the Viking Longhouse as the magickal women from our ‘women supporting women’ programme display stunning hand-crafted treasures for sale

  • Feast from a choice of hearty stews, breads and roasted meats for sale from our favourite kitchen witch

. . . And more!

Dressing for the occasion is highly encouraged but not compulsory.  But DO BRING a torch - it is essential as the Ancient Technology Centre sits beneath a ‘dark skies’ reserve and it can be very dark when entering and exiting the site.

Reconnect with the Goddess

Join us around the Earth Kin Hearth within Europe’s largest and most majestic Earthouse, as we restore our connection to the Goddess.

Though centuries of patriarchal culture and European witch hunts tried to sever this connection, the Goddess still calls to us—and this Samhain, we will answer!

The Evening Experience

This gathering combines ritual, story, drumming and sacred connection:

  • Drumming & chanting to awaken your body and spirit

  • Gentle rituals to connect with ancestors and the cycles of the moon

  • Storytelling

  • And much more!

While our Samhain event centres the voices of women, we believe access and connection to the feminine divine is the birth right of all, and all allies 18 years+ are welcome with open arms to join us round the hearth.

Event Details

  • Site opens: 6pm (Ancestor’s Temple, bar, hot food, craft stalls)

  • Formal celebrations begin: 7.30pm

  • Age: 18+ (all allies welcome around the hearth. Please note - this event is not suitable for babes in arms. Please do not bring these precious little ones as we will be unable to admit them, thank you for your understanding.)

The Wild Heart is you, and your time is now…

and we are waiting to welcome you home.

·         Unfortunately, we do not have the resource to manage a waiting list for sold out events.

·         Please be cautious about buying re-sales from anyone you don't know, as sadly there are many people out there actively scamming others and it is heartbreaking to hear of people losing money this way.

Please note, the Ancestor’s Altar is likely to be outside - please do bring copies of photos of your loved ones that won't devastate you if they end up getting wet or damaged!

·         Celebrations in the Earthouse will begin promptly at 7.30pm - those arriving after this time will be admitted by our Ground Team at an appropriate time.

·         For your comfort and safety, our events are subject to age restrictions. At Samhain, our material is much darker in tone - Samhain Celebrations are suitable for those over 18 years only.

·         As the ATC is a working site with uneven ground wheelchair users may need further support during the evening to ensure comfort and safety, please contact us in advance if you need assistance.

·         Please feel free to dress for the occasion! Wrap up warmly as although we will have a fire, the night air hails a chill as the veil turns!
