The Claiming Moon - calling upon the wisdom of the Celtic Goddess of Sovereignty and Horses, Rhiannon,
In the heart of the golden days of summer rises the Claiming Moon in her fullest sovereignty; ‘Oh ho!’ say the stars, and ‘make way! The Bold One has come! Now we shall hear what she has to say, and hear something worth the hearing!’
Together, we gather! Wild Hearted women are invited to gather at the Earth Kin Women’s Hearth at 7pm on Thursday 30th July 2026, as we enter the realm of the Celtic full ‘Claiming Moon’, also named the ‘Horse Moon’.
Together, we will share our hopes, hurts and dreams around the fire of the Iron Age roundhouse in our women’s sharing circle, before exploring the potent energies of Her Luminous Majesty at the height of her power.
Together, we will call upon the wisdom of the Celtic Goddess of Sovereignty and Horses, Rhiannon, whose story is the story of women for time upon time. Silenced, falsely accused, forced to bear what should not have been born, this empress of resilience, reclamation and resurrection calls to us to stoke the fires of our authentic truth to survive and thrive when we are robbed of our agency and told to shut up, shrivel, and shrink. . . no more!
The evening includes:
Sharing circle with sharing of poetry, quotes or images in circle to inspire, reflect and release
Storytelling ~ ‘The Rises of Rhiannon’ with sacred storyteller Ellie Brooks
‘Ritual of Rhiannon’, reclaiming our sovereignty, truth and voices
Hot drinks and biscuits provided for the break
All women over 18 years of age welcome, from all paths of life, in this multi-faith, inclusive, warm, welcoming space.
Please do layer up warmly - we will be gathering round a roaring fire, but the veil of night still hails a chill for the unwary when the sun goes down!
