Earth Kin Women’s Circle ~ Thursday 25th September 2025 ~ 7pm - 9.30pm
In the time before time, women were sacred.
Humankind’s earliest ritual and artistic carvings celebrated the female form, life, and creation, from the Venus of Willendorf to the Venus of Dolní Věstonice, and many, many more.
As farming, cities, and empire emerged, patriarchal ideals took hold. Women’s voices were silenced en-masse, their wisdom belittled and diminished.
But beneath the weight of history, we endured. We healed one another, shared our songs and stories, raised children together, and celebrated our rich, intuitive lives through art, drumming, ritual, and dance.
If you feel homesick for something you cannot name, if the everyday grind leaves you restless or unfulfilled, this circle is for you. Here, we gather in sacred sisterhood, around the fire, to listen, to be heard, and to awaken the rhythm of soul.
This evening will include:
Sharing Circle ~ in which we will all have the opportunity to share what is foremost in our hearts at that moment, to listen, to witness and to be heard
Warm drinks
Gentle ritual
Sharing of poems, stories, songs or images to inspire
All women over 18 years of age welcome, from all paths of life, in this multi-faith, inclusive, warm, welcoming space.
Free parking available.
Wrap up warm! We will cosy up around the fire, but September hails a chill wind for the unwary.
Earth Kin Hearth Keeper, Ellie Brooks, will send out a detailed information email prior to the circle on the morning of the 25th.
